We are happy to announce our endorsement of Anne Craven for Iowa House, District 46.
Anne brings real world experience into this race with over 20 years in customer service and a strong background in financial systems that directly impact everyday people.
Her campaign is grounded in what she describes as “bringing the power in Iowa back to Iowans and away from corruption and big money, so that all Iowans have a safe, healthy and comfortable life.”
On affordability, she is focused on “raising the minimum wage and making childcare and transportation more affordable,” while also working to ban price gouging and ease the burden on working families.
On education, she calls out the current system and pushes for increased funding while working to eliminate the voucher program as it exists today due to its lack of oversight and accountability.
On accountability, Anne makes it clear that “political accountability is about standing by your principals, even when it is difficult,” and that representatives must always answer to the people they serve.
